S.T.A.R.T. Program: Monday and Thursday mornings (times are indicated on students’ take home folders).

Phys. Ed. with Mme Raithby : Mondays, every second Wednesdays & Thursdays (students must have their running shoes and gym uniform)

JUMP math topics for September were Place Value and Addition

In cycle one we focus on ones, tens and hundreds units. The students are practicing identifying what each digit represents in a number (397 = 3 hundreds, 9 tens and 7 ones) and representing numbers with base ten blocks. We have been learning numerous strategies to help with addition.

The Zones of Regulation
